1cup Quinoa You can mix both red and white | |
1 Potato | |
1 Onion | |
1 Egg (M) | |
Salt | |
Black pepper | |
1/2tsp Cumin | |
1/2tsp Turmeric | |
1/2cup Flour Gluten-free | |
1/2cup Bread crumbs Gluten-free | |
Olive oil (for the pan) |
Directions
1.
Cook your quinoa
Cook your quinoa with water (I usually cook it like pasta) until it is ready.
Then let it cool completely.
Mark as complete

In a new bowl
Grate the potato, onion, and carrot.
Then, squeeze all of the liquid out of the mix.
Mark as complete

Mix the quinoa and veggies
Mix the quinoa and veggies together and add Egg, spices, GF flour, and GF bread crumbs.
Mix until everything is well combined and you have a firm mixture.
Mark as complete
4.
Shape your patties
Shape your patties and fry them on a pan with a thin coat of olive oil.
Take into account that you will need to add more olive oil with each batch. Just make sure to always have that thin layer of olive oil in the pan.

Notes
Feel free to be liberated with the spices. I even added a little chicken-flavored spice and next, I will try playing with it more.
