500g chicken breast cut into bite-size pieces | |
1 ½tsp baking powder | |
1tbsp all-purpose GF flour | |
1 onion cut into rings | |
1 carrot | |
1 bell pepper (optional) | |
Green onion |
Sauce
4tbsp soy sauce Gluten-free | |
4tbsp natural dates honey (Or regular honey) | |
few drops Sesame oil |
Directions

Cook the chicken
In a medium-size bowl, mix the chicken with the baking powder and let it sit for a few minutes.
In the meanwhile, prepare a non-stick pan with a thin layer of olive oil, about 1 tbsp.
Once the pan is hot enough, add the chicken, and let it cook until it gets a nice, golden, coat.
Remove from the heat and place the chicken aside

Cook the veggies
In the same pan, heat another 1 tablespoon of olive oil and add the vegetables- I start by cooking the onion for 1-2 minutes, then I add the carrot and the bell pepper.
Once the vegetables become softer add the chicken back to the pan and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
At this point, add to the pan the soy sauce and dates honey, stir well and let it simmer until the sauce becomes thicker.
Note: you can, of course, mix the two together before adding them to the pan.

Right before serving
Drizzle some sesame oil drops onto the chicken and mix it once again. Add some green onion rings for decoration.
